After a particularly dismal time of it in the 1960s the people of Brillsville had had enough. They got together and formed "The Positive Vibe Tribe" with the sole purpose of looking on the bright side and vowing to spread nothing but positive energy throughout the town. By the end of 1973 it was reported that 97% of the town had signed up. The remaining 3% were naturally shunned and forced out of town.
