Brillsville Dinosaur Club
Larry was so convinced that he'd discovered the bones of an actual Dinosaur in his back garden he founded the "Brillsville Dinosaur Club" with the hope that this would be the first of many fossils waiting to be found under the town of Brillsville.
His parents, not wanting to disappoint their son, couldn't bring themselves to break it to him that the bones actually belonged to his beloved dog Sampson after informing him some years ago that she'd "gone to live on a farm" and watched in horror as he tried to piece the remains back together on the kitchen table. The club was disbanded some 6 months later due to complaints that the club had inadvertently disturbed the resting places of some 48 of the residents once loyal companions.
